Ing. David Gerneš

Born in Prostějov, Gerneš graduated from Prague University of Economics and Business as well as from Arts Management at the Theatre Faculty of AMU. He has co-managed festivals like Colours of Ostrava and “Cirkus na lodi”. He was part of the founding team of the art centre Villa Štvanice, the hosting stage of his previous close collaborators, the GeisslersHofcomoedianten group.

 

In 2016 he helped launch “Mikulovská rozvojová”, an art project contributing to the cultural life of Mikulov by running various events and the town cinema. He has been Managing Director of Moravian Theatre Olomouc since 2018.
