MgA. Lukáš Průdek

Lukáš  Průdek has since 2014 worked as Managing Director of the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, where he had grown up. In 2001 he graduated from Arts Management at the Theatre Faculty of AMU in Prague. He also completed a three-year Summer Fellowship for International Arts Managers at Kennedy Centre’s DeVos Institute of Arts Management in Washington DC and later worked as assistant professor on a Strategic Management course at Brno Newton College (2008–2009).

 

Between 2001 and 2003 Průdek worked at Damúza Studio as production manager and then as operations manager at Divadlo Na blízko. In 2007 he was assistant director to a musical performance at the revolving stage in Český Krumlov as part of the International Český Krumlov music festival. In 2008 he similarly assisted the direction of La Forzza Del Destino at the South Bohemian Theatre. In both productions he worked with soloists of the Metropolitan Opera.

 

His career at Dejvice Theatre included positions of operations manager (2001–2008), marketing and production manager (2008–2011) and finally associate to the Managing Director.
